I want to discuss my top five favourite web design trends of two thousand thirteen now be strength have existed prior to two dozen interchange but they are hot right now and these are things that as you go forth with your design he start thinking about incorporating these things into your work in your projects okay the first one is the usage of a large background-image as the focal point uh… your main home page now you see there’s a lot you can go to sites like fast web gallery and any gallery website you can see a collection of these websites that include that has that how large background-image incorporated into their home page and essentially what they’re doing is they’re taking in nice engaging image in the using that have the focal point the hero shot of the image itself or the whole pages celso this is all this is the way for you to kind of uh… relax on the design of the home page because essentially you’re letting the photography do all the design work for your home page so instead of trying to come up with different elements you know design elements for the home page and how will look in this in that and you can take a nice large engaging image background layer some navigation on top layer of your logo player syntax layer lifespan nice uh… unlicensed shade or something to go over the image analyse caught action button and you can come up with a nice home page design so a lot of designers are are incorporating this look this design treatment into their work and it’s really it’s a really nice look uh… liberty though the second one is the usage of the single page okay this is also used uh… with the large background image but basically you see these single page designs and what happens is this is a kuwait for designers to try to focusing on one page and not necessarily worry about building content for all these additional pages but you’re set your separate your content based on these different sections and also you see these sections that are uh… colour coordinated so you might start with the lord background image as you scroll down below that there’s a white section and as you scroll down there maybe another darker section insult the jury you’re casting maybe your about page your services page whatever your contact page are separated by different colour coordinated uh… uh… did so you can you know have different sections in different colours and it just is not a single one pages i mean you could also include smooth scrolling sort of the click on one of the links it’s cruel is scroll down smoothly to one of the um… sections in and uh… links within the page in this is a nice that trend if this is ninety nine train and you can incorporate that usage of large background-image okay so number two it is the single page design third when is the usage of textures and i’m noah is and that this is that this is been around for a while uncooperative this couple years ago after two o’clock this in my design but found the usage of textures subtle textures subtle layer textures in your design works there really bring out your design elements that make them a little bit more engaging then just flat colours black grade so the trick is you apply a little nice gradient assoc read it on your design i could abar debt and uh… background and your pledge no is implied a little bit of texture on that it has to be some although you don’t want to be too noisy into crazy you just wanted to have some nicer detection and what you do is you layer different textures in different areas and that will really make your you are design work really really engaging okay so the usage of textures the port when is a big d and uh… this is probably one that you can talk about and uh… for hours north but as the usage of responsible sign so
